1. Start here: what we never do
These have no setting, because they are not on offer to anyone.
- Giving your name, phone number or email to a company you did not pick
- Selling your personal information
- Sharing your phone number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing
- Using your name, phone number or email to train any model
- Letting the AI providers that run our models train their own models on your photos
- Identifying people from faces in your photos
2. How we use your information
We use what you give us to run Roomquoted for you: to make your concept image, work out prices, find companies and send your project to the ones you pick.
We also use it to build and improve Roomquoted more broadly. The settings below say how. Three of them start on for everyone, because they are how the service gets better for the next person. You can switch any of them off, and nothing about the service changes for you if you do. The other two start off, and stay off unless you say yes.

Starts OnUsing room photos, concept images and project details to train and test the models that power Roomquoted, such as the ones that read a room, draw a concept and estimate a price. Your name, phone number and email are never used for this.

Starts OffEmails or texts from Roomquoted about new features, offers and ideas for your home. Messages about a project you started are separate and are not marketing.

4. Switch something off, or make a request
You do not need an account, and you do not have to explain why.
5. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. Some advertising cookies can count as sharing personal information for advertising. Those cookies are off unless you allow them.
- Your room photo, your project and your contact details are never used for advertising.
- We treat the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out. You do not need to fill anything in, and advertising stays off while your browser sends it.
- Tick “Do not sell or share my personal information” in the form above, or switch advertising off in your cookie settings.
6. Questions we expect
Does switching something off cost me anything?
No. Roomquoted is free, and it works the same whether each setting is on or off. You still get your concept image, your prices and your companies.
Are you selling my data?
No. We do not sell personal information. The only figures we share are de-identified and combined across many projects, such as typical costs for a room in an area. They say nothing about you or your home.
Can I change my mind?
Yes, at any time. A change applies to new information straight away, and information already held is taken out of our working sets within 30 days. Two things cannot be undone: a model already trained, and figures already shared. Neither can be taken back, because no one person's part of them can be picked out again.
What about the companies I picked?
Once you send your project to a company, what that company does with it is governed by its own privacy policy. Switching a setting off here stops future sharing, but it cannot recall what a company already has. Ask that company directly if you want it deleted.
What if I am not happy with the answer?
Write to us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the privacy regulator where you live.
